Table of Contents
Plans – What’s the Cost of MarketMuse?
There are three pricing packages that MarketMuse offer on their website:
- Free
- Standard
- Premium
MarketMuse Free Plan
This plan includes the following features:
- Cost: Free
- No credit card required
- Permanent account (no time limit)
- For 1 user
- Includes all core applications (Optimize, Research, Compete, Questions & Connect)
- 35 queries per month
- 45 projects
Who is the free package ideal for?
It’s great for those who are curious about the software, and want to try it before buying. MarketMuse have only recently introduced this plan, and we think that it’s a fantastic option for those wanting to begin doing on their site/sites without any risk.
However, this is for one user, and therefore if you’re looking to have multiple users the standard or premium plan will be better suited.
Not only this, but you’re limited to 35 queries per month, which is approximately 1 search per day. We personally use 10-20 per day, so we couldn’t possibly use this plan for long-term usage.
Additionally, this plan cannot create MM content briefs, which the standard and premium plan can.
None-the-less, the free plan is perfect to try out the software and all of its applications/features.
MarketMuse Standard Plan
This plan includes the following features:
- Cost: $149/Month (Add new users for $99/month)
- For 1 user
- Includes all core applications (Optimize, Research, Compete, Questions & Connect)
- Includes data exports
- Unlimited queries per month
- Unlimited projects
Who is the standard package ideal for?
It’s ideal for individuals/business’ who want to be able to use all of the features in MarketMuse, including the ability to export data, which is especially important for client deliverables, and in case you keep track of website changes/ progress in spreadsheets or Google Sheets.
Not only this, but it comes with an unlimited amount of queries per month, and an unlimited number of projects. In other words, this means you can do an analysis of countless search queries/keywords for an unlimited number of sites/clients.
It allows for 1 user, but you can pay an additional $99 for each new user.
Therefore, this is the perfect plan for those who want to use the software on a regular basis, on a number of websites.
It’s also ideal for those who potentially want multiple users to access it, for as long as the number of users is below 8, because if it’s over that number, you might want to consider the premium plan.
MarketMuse Premium Plan
This plan includes the following features:
- Cost: $999/Month
- Unlimited users
- Track managed topics
- Includes all core applications (Optimize, Research, Compete, Questions & Connect)
- Includes data exports
- Unlimited self-serve briefs
- Unlimited queries per month
- Unlimited projects
Who is the premium package ideal for?
The premium plan is, as suggested, their creme-de-la-creme product.
It includes all of the features of their less expensive plans, but has the ability to get an unlimited number of self-serve briefs. briefs cost 1 credit, which equates to $25, that’s the cost you would pay with the standard plan. However, they’re free with the premium plan.
Additionally, an unlimited number of users can log into the software, so it’s great for agencies/companies who have SEOs/ & schedule. Writers/Managers, etc who want to see the
What Plan Do We Use?
We were early investors into MarketMuse, and actually spent over $5,000 as part of a one-time fee to get access to the platform and all of its features. We’re essentially on the equivalent of the MarketMuse Standard Plan.
They say, practice what you preach… And we use this every day with both our own portfolio of sites and client websites…
In fact, we’re using MarketMuse to optimize this very article now… So if you’re reading this, you’ll know that MarketMuse has been an integral reason and factor in making that happen.
